The matrices have been designed by making possible the change of the extrusion dies also makes it possible to make coatings of titanium in the areaextrusion, that would be  impossible if the nibs is not removable.
In the matrices extrusion polishing is of vital importance. All matrices produced by S.G. CARBIDE DIE are finished polished-mirror, before and after coating of titanium. This allows a better flow of material, extends the life span of the matrix and prevents the seizure-up of the tool.
